Fabrice Nobs spent almost 10 years photographing Armaçao de Pera, a southern Portuguese town, off season. A concrete jungle that used to be a fishermen village and is now the holidays town of thousands of tourists from Portugal and northern Europe. A late example of Fordist urban planning aimed at mass consumption, before a new coastline law in 2007 changed the deal. But the buildings are still there, waiting silently for the tourists to come, every summer.
